There's always something to be said about form vs. function in the car performance industry. There's definately a trend moving to balance both while keeping things looking clean. I'd like to think that the days of crazy looking painted dashboard's and stick on fender air vents are gone. No need to worry when it comes to Chad Rapper's 2004 Infiniti G35. Chad has managed to merge form and function into his Infiniti G35, making it one clean Infiniti G35 and landing it as one of our Feature Cars.

Chad: I've had the car for 3 years now.
Q: What made you purchase the car?
A: I was looking for something that was sporty but still had some classiness to it. The G35 was a perfect blend of both and I LOVED the way the stock exhaust sounds.
Q: How long have you been into tuning cars and how did you get into it?
A: I'm pretty new to the import tuning scene, only 3 years now. I had no intention of getting into all of this but it happened kind of by accident. I was out when I saw a chicagoz.com sticker on someones G35 and wondered what it was all about. when I got home later that night I looked it up and I haven't looked back since.
Q: What other cars have you owned and where would you rank the G35?
A: My first car was a Chevelle which was also my first introduction to fast cars. That car got me into trouble because my foot was surprisingly heavy when I was driving around in it. I then went through a line of boring cars after that like an escort, and Ford Contour and then I bought Saab 9-3 turbo that was fun but after several years I sold it for the G35.
Q: What plans do you have for the car?
A: I just sold my Racing Harts and will be ordering a set of Work Varianza TS1's and some Stance coilovers and I'll be working with Touge Factory on a much more aggressive stance. I'll also be stepping up to the 9 lb pulley for my procharger and a set of test pipes with a re-tune. I also plan to try some auto cross next year too.
Q: What are some of the crazy things you've done in your car? :)
A: In all honesty...nothing cray. Being married and having and amazing kiddo, it's not worth taking chances. I know, I'm boring.
Q: What do you do for a living?
A: I'm a Territory Manager for one of the largest credit card processing companies in the US.
Q: Who are you current sponsors?
A: Currently my sponsors are GT Spec, Mishimoto, Touge Factory, GRD Performance and Project X Customs
Q: Anything else that come to your mind?
A: My car can be seen right now in the latest issue of Nissan Sport Magazine. I not only got the cover shot but I also got a 6 page feature. HUGE thanks to Brad Sillars for the amazing pics as always. Thank you for the interview!
