The 2012 Spyker C8 Aileron is a striking car that gives you the feeling that at any moment, it will blast off into the sky.  Here it is in our photogallery.

The new 2012 Spyker C8 Aileron GT is here to replace C8 Laviolette GT2R racer. The renowned Spyker Squadron’s team of engineers is getting geared up to start the activities of developing this new vehicle at the Zeewolde headquarters.

The latest edition of the Spyker C8 Aileron GT which will walk the ramp still dressed in the 19 inch wheels along with the turbine blade like spokes. The new space-frame is very strong and at the same time light due to the extensive use of aluminium. The new model is a few inches longer and will sport a Getrag manual gear box. The ZF six-speed which is automatic or the six-speed manual gearbox are both holding on to the same mechanism for the gearshift. The clean look of the new race car will be emphasized by a roofline which will surely be a bit longer and a little lower. The new car company after the first set of production will want to access if the FIA GT3 variant is in demand or not. This car is going to be available to various teams of customers and will be speculated; and the demand for off the shelf buying is also being looked into. The new race car the 2012 Spyker C8 Aileron GT is based on Spyker’s C8 Aileron luxury car and will be built with the new GTE specifications.

There is not much information about the specifications of the new car. However some improvement is expected in the aerodynamics of the car. The carbon fibre which makes the body light and some more power will be added to the engine which already houses 400 hp. Still holding a position in the manufacturing market it is yet to be seen what effect they have on their high speed customers. The company expects to get more funds if they concentrate on the race vehicle and that is exactly what is keeping them busy.
